Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have:
  • Blackboard Learn administrator access
  • Permission to register LTI 1.3 / LTI Advantage tools
  • A Praxis AI Digital Twin instance (create one at pria.praxislxp.com)
  • Your Digital Twin’s public instance ID

Installation Overview

Register Pria as an LTI 1.3 Tool

In the Blackboard Administrator Panel, go to Integrations → LTI Tool Providers → Register LTI 1.3 / Advantage Tool.

Configure Tool Settings

Enter the Pria LTI registration details:

Enable LTI Services

Grant the LTI Advantage services Pria uses:
  • Names and Role Provisioning Services
  • Assignment and Grade Services (if using grading features)
  • Deep Linking (for content placement)

Set Tool Availability

Mark the tool as Approved and set its availability to Yes so instructors can add it to courses.

Deploy to Courses

Add Pria to course content areas or the course menu as an LTI 1.3 tool.

Troubleshooting

IssueSolution
Tool not available in coursesConfirm the tool is Approved and set to Available = Yes in LTI Tool Providers.
Authentication failuresVerify the Client/Application ID and Deployment ID match between Blackboard and Pria.
”Invalid redirect” errorsEnsure every redirect URL is registered exactly as shown above.
Students can’t accessCheck that the placement is visible to the student role in the course.
